So yes blood clots in a limb can hurt- pain, swelling, redness is caused by a blockage in the vein
symptoms of one limb swollen and not the other limb is a sign of possible of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) blood clot
to detect a blood clot you need to get an ultrasound to look at the veins...
